Thank you for your interest in City Web Development. I thought you might like to know who CWD is.
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Dan Falls. In 1992 my employer asked me to design a website for his business. He was so impressed he actually gave me more than I quoted him for the website. Of course that was a boost of confidence. Soon after, I discovered the website was nominated for an award from the American Association of Webmasters... and I won the award! Needless to say this launched a dream of mine - to actually get PAID to sit in front of a computer!
The websites evolved. I learned as I went along and I have enjoyed it ever since. Unfortunately, having to hold down a regular job has limited my ability and time over the years to concentrate on website development. After building several dozen websites over the years and trying to balance my "day job" and website development I have re-lit the fire. I have found myself behind the pack in terms of the latest programming languages and trends in website development. It is an ever-changing field. Although I never completely put it down, I have not been doing much new website work lately... but that is changing.
The majority of the websites I have done over the years have gone by the wayside, either due to client disinterest, life changes, or other reasons. Some have decided to use in-house personnel for continued website maintenance. Determined to "get back in the game", I am re-launching DF Web Services in the form of City Web Development. My old domain, DanFalls.com will be used for personal use. Feel free to check it out and keep up with my comings and goings. This is a re-birth, a re-invention so to speak. Although this website is new, my experience is not. I have been developing websites since 1992.
